Manx Lottery Trust Award Crossroads Funding for Mental Health First Aid Training
Crossroads staff will receive mental health first aid training thanks to funding from Manx Lottery Trust.
£1,188 has been given to Crossroads to fund the course, run by local charity Isle Listen, which is designed to provide staff with an introduction to mental health and skills to listen and guide people towards appropriate support.
Crossroads' Chief Executive Jackie Betteridge said it will mean everyone connected to the charity will feel supported: "We can't thank the Manx Lottery Trust enough for their support with this important project. We want to ensure our staff are well supported in responding to these issues, especially given the situations our workers sometimes face."
Manx Lottery Trust Chairman Sarah Kelly said: "It will no doubt have a positive impact on the charity's workforce, volunteers, and service users for many years to come."
A huge thank you to Manx Lottery Trust for their support.
