Shop Worker (Bank)

Crossroads is looking for a friendly and organised individual to join our Charity Shops team as a Shop Worker.

We are looking for someone who has good people skills and who can work in a fast-paced environment whilst delivering an excellent and friendly service to our customers and donators.

Applicants should also be able to safely lift and carry boxes as we receive regular donations.

This is a relief/bank post to provide cover for staff absences and holidays, including Saturdays.

The rate of pay for this role is £12 per hour.

Care Practitioner

Crossroads is looking for Care Practitioners to join our team.

We are looking for dynamic, proactive and motivated individuals to support people with care needs in a variety of settings including in our Day Services Centre, in our clients' own homes and out in the community.

Qualifications and experience are preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Applicants should be able to drive and have access to their own vehicle as clients can be based anywhere on Island.

Hours are dependent on the needs of our clients and may include early mornings, evenings and weekends on a rota basis.

We have both full time and part time contracts available for this role including 18, 24, 30 and 35 hours per week, and the rate of pay is £12.50 per hour for a worker with no qualifications and £14.25 per hour for a worker with a Level 3 qualification.

Independent Care Assistant

Crossroads has a new role available for Independent Care Assistants. 

We are looking for individuals with a caring and friendly nature to support clients with retaining their independence in their own homes or out in the community. This will involve tasks such as shopping for clients, companionship, domestic tasks and transportation. This role does not involve personal care.

Qualifications and experience are preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Applicants should be able to drive and have access to their own vehicle as clients can be based anywhere on Island.

Hours are dependent on the needs of our clients and may include early mornings, evenings and weekends on a rota basis.

We have both full time and part time contracts available for this role, and the rate of pay is £11.70 per hour.
