Social Club Team Leader
Crossroads has an exciting job opportunity available for a Social Club Team Leader.
We are looking for a positive and capable Team Leader to lead, support and supervise our team of Care Practitioners who work in Social Club, delegating activities, roles and responsibilities as necessary, whilst working 'hands on' with our clients.
Our Social Club provides support (including emotional support) and assistance to adults with complex care needs in our Day Services Centre and on trips out in the community.
The successful applicant should have a minimum of a Level 3 in Health and Social Care and experience of working with adults with disabilities. We are also looking for someone who is able to follow and ensure your team follows policies and procedures, can keep calm under pressure, has strong communication skills, is able to maintain professional relationships with clients and their families and carers, and maintain confidentiality.
Applicants should also have a full driving licence.
This role is for 35 hours per week.

Listening Practitioner
Crossroads is looking for an exceptional communicator to join our team and help us offer more support to carers who feel that they are not being heard.
You will need to listen to, understand, champion and work with carers to help them navigate the difficulties they encounter in their caring journey. This will involve supporting them to access and understand appropriate information and services, ensuring that they are taken seriously and their rights are respected. To do this you must be able to listen effectively, engage and build relationships with carers, other agencies and statutory bodies.
The successful applicant will have knowledge on or be able to learn about the legislation and policies involved in the social care system.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, the ability to maintain professional relationships (often with families in distress), keep calm under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications and experience in the field of Social Care preferred but not essential as personality is key and training will be given. Applicants must have a clean driving licence and access to their own vehicle as meetings may be anywhere in the island.
This role is for 14 hours per week.

Care Practitioner
Crossroads is looking for Care Practitioners to join our team.
We are looking for individuals who are friendly, professional and versatile to support people with care needs in a variety of settings including in our Day Services Centre, in our clients' own homes and out in the community.
Qualifications and experience are preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
Applicants should be able to drive and have access to their own vehicle as clients can be based anywhere on Island.
Hours are dependent on the needs of our clients and may include early mornings, evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
We have guaranteed full time and part time contracts available for this role, and the rate of pay is £14.05 per hour for a practitioner with no qualifications, £15.17 for a practitioner with a Level 2 qualification, and £16.01 for a practitioner with a Level 3 qualification.
