Father and Son Walk for Crossroads

Father and son, Tony and David Unsworth took part in the Parish Walk last month to raise money for Crossroads.

Tony took part in last year's Parish Walk to raise money for our charity, and this year decided to take it on again alongside his son David who has attended our Young Carers project in the past.

Tony and his wife Susanne's son, Thomas, has Autism and has previously attended our Holiday Scheme project and nursery. Thomas is now working with our Crossroads Community Venture (CCV) scheme to support him in finding a work placement.

Both of them did a brilliant job, with Tony making it to Rushen and David making it to Peel!

Their amazing efforts saw them raise a wonderful total of £460, and we would like to say a huge thank you to both Tony and David for raising money for Crossroads, we're so grateful for their family's continued support!

Here is Tony collecting his certificate along with his son Thomas collecting David's.
