Community Fundraiser

Crossroads is looking for someone to join our fundraising team as a Community Fundraiser! This is a brand new job role and perfect for anyone who is looking to work in fundraising or events. The candidate will be responsible for helping to plan and run events in the community, and for raising awareness of the charity within local organisations, schools and corporates. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and creative, and who can work as part of a team. This role is for 25 hours per week and will involve evenings and weekends as required. The candidate must be able to work flexible hours and have use of their own vehicle with a full, clean driving licence.

Shop Worker (Relief)

We are looking for someone to join our relief team as a Shop Worker. The successful candidate will be required to work in any of our charity shops to cover staff sickness, holidays and training when required. The role will involve assisting our Shops Coordinator in the day to day running of the shops and optimising sales and income. Our shops also provide work placement opportunities for supported clients and the candidate will assist with this. We are looking for someone who is friendly and professional and who can provide excellent customer service. Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential.

Employment Support Worker

Crossroads is looking for an Employment Support Worker who will be responsible for supporting adults with learning difficulties and/or mental health issues, enabling them to join or return to the working community. The successful applicant will work with our clients with the aim of helping them attain employment. This support ranges from ‘hands on’ learning alongside our clients, to updating care plans, to liaising with employment providers. Qualifications and experience are preferred but not essential as training will be given. Applicants should have access to their own vehicle and a full, clean driving licence as placements can take place anywhere on island. This role is for 30 hours per week.

Carer Support Workers

We are looking for Carer Support Workers to join our expanding team! We are looking for individuals who have the versatility to support people with care needs across a broad spectrum. This could be in a group setting, one to one out in the community or in our client's own homes. This role is perfect for anyone who is looking to work in health and social care. Qualifications and experience are preferred but not necessary as training will be given. Applicants should be able to drive and have access to their own vehicle as our clients are based across the island. This role is for 30 hours per week and can include early mornings, evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
