Carer Support Workers

Crossroads is looking for Carer Support Workers to join the team. We are looking for individuals who have the versatility to cover a wide range of support roles; varying from supporting adults with disabilities to gain employment skills, supporting adults with disabilities or elderly clients within a social group or one to one caring; either out in the community, in our centre or within client’s own homes. Applicants must have their own vehicle and a full driving licence. This role is for 30 hours per week, and hours can include early mornings, evenings and weekends on a rota basis

Cook

We are looking for someone to provide daily lunches for our day services clients and meals as required by other schemes such as Young Carers and Nursery. The ideal candidate will be someone who is able to produce high quality, freshly cooked meals for our clients who has a caring yet professional manner. Qualifications and/or experience is preferred but not essential. This role is for 25 hours per week.

Non-Executive Director

We are recruiting a number of Non-Executive Directors to join our Board. Whether you’re an experienced Director or are wanting to take the first step on to a Board, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for people who are willing to learn about our charity and local carers, engage with the work we do, and embrace what we stand for as an organisation. Your role will include attending quarterly meetings, helping to make strategic decisions and develop new skills, and to influence new and innovative ideas. 
Previous board or trustee experience is not necessary as training will be given. We welcome applications from all ages and backgrounds.
