Why Crossroads Care?
Kate was born with a disability. Whilst a small child, Kate can attend Crossroads Nursery or be supported in mainstream nursery. At school age, Kate goes to Holiday Scheme where she can make friends and enjoy activities in school holidays whilst her parents can stay in work. Once a teenager, Kate joins Social Club and is guided through the transition to adulthood. Meanwhile, Kate’s brother and sister can attend Young Carers and have a break from helping their parents care for Kate.
Now an adult, Kate can look at increasing her independence, leaving home, gaining employment or further training, building up a social network, going on holiday with some mates, doing well at work, spending quality time with family, and dating someone nice by attending Building Bridges and Crossroads Community Venture. At the same time, Kate’s family can watch Kate flourish and develop as a person and will have the freedom to pursue those things they put on hold whilst Kate grew up.

Our charity shop can then arrange a collection date to pick up the items that have been donated.
Your bags make a real difference;
