Family Circus Fun Day Raises £2,440 for Young Carers

Crossroads' recent circus themed family fun day has raised £2,440 for the charity's Young Carers project.

The event, which was held at Vagabonds Rugby Club on Sunday 18th July, was supported by Quilter International as part of a three-year campaign to support Crossroads' Young Carers Project.

Families enjoyed an afternoon of circus and fairground themed activities including bouncy castles, a Ferris wheel, magic shows, and funfair games. There was also plenty of food to enjoy including ice cream and candy floss.

The day proved to be a huge success raising a total of £2,440 which is generously being match funded by Quilter.

There were many people who contributed to the success of the event so we would like to thank Vagabonds Rugby Club, Mad Jack's Axe Throwing, Switched On Events & Marquees, Spinnin' Vannin, Davison's Ice Cream, MexiMann, Funky Foodz, A3 Island Marquees, Dinky Donuts Isle of Man, St John Ambulance Isle of Man, DK Photography, Joyful Henna, our wonderful magician Giles, amazing cake bakers and fabulous face painters, and everyone else who helped make the day a success! We couldn't have done it without their help, generosity and support.

We would also like to thank all of our amazing volunteers who helped run the event, and everyone who came along and made a donation. We hope everyone had a lovely afternoon.

Finally, everyone at Crossroads would like to thank the teams at Quilter International and MMC for organising the event with us and putting so much hard work into making it happen!

The wonderful Dave Bell took some photos of the day which you can see here.
