Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Over the past few days, we have been putting together plans to ensure we can continue helping carers during this difficult time.

Our main priority is to ensure that ALL carers are looked after.

We understand that this is a scary time for everyone. As a carer you and your loved one(s) may be more vulnerable and we are asking you to stay safe and let us help you to try and prevent you or the people you care for from getting COVID-19.

For us, our services will continue for as long as we are able to do so and as long as it is safe to do so. However, some of our services will not be operating in the usual way, and some will be reduced or delivered differently. We would like to reassure all of our carers that we will continue to support you at this difficult time and will be offering alternative support when needed.

All services users will be informed if their services are to be affected.

We are taking extra precautions both in our buildings and out in the community. All staff have re-familiarised themselves with our prevention and control of infection policies. Extra hand sanitiser is being used and we are making sure that good hygiene is practised in all situations.

We are also asking that any clients who feel unwell or have symptoms stay at home. Many of our services are attended by those with care needs and are therefore vulnerable to any infections, viruses, etc. We do not want to risk the spread of COVID-19, so if you do feel unwell please remain at home, and if you require any extra help then please get in touch and we can arrange extra provisions if necessary.

We understand that these are unprecedented times and we cannot predict how long it will last. However, we can reassure you that we will continue providing services for as long as possible to keep helping carers and their loved ones.

We will be announcing additional measures in the next few days and will continue to monitor the situation to ensure we are providing the best possible help we can.

We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding at this time.
