This week Crossroads Care's Young Carers have been out and about making the most of the beautiful Manx weather.
On Tuesday evening our Southern group headed down to Port Erin beach where they played rounders and tennis, practised their gymnastics, coloured in pebbles and paddled in the sea! Also this week, our Northern Young Carers went to the beach in Ramsey where they went beach rock pooling and made the most of the sun. A wonderful time was had by all of our Young Carers who were enjoying one of their regular fortnightly sessions.
Crossroads’ Young Carers scheme runs sessions for children who are caring for a parent or sibling, often as a primary carer. The sessions give them time and space to be themselves by giving them a break from their caring responsibilities. To find out more please see our Young Carers leaflet or contact us.
